Calabasas Sun Sets Summer SeriesPosted on: 2010-07-19Four concerts remain in the Calabasas Sun Sets Summer Series which features free Sunday evening performances at Calabasas Lake through August. With a line-up ranging from Latin music to Motown classics, the Sun Sets Series will entertain the entire family on Sunday evenings this summer. There is one concert in July and three concerts in August. On July 18, Stone Soul will bring the best of sixties Motown to Calabasas with a concert filled with classic hits.
The full Sun Sets concert schedule is available online at www.cityofcalabasas.com/sunsets.html. No tickets are necessary and all performances in the 2010 Calabasas Sun Sets Summer Series are free to the public. All concerts will begin at 6:00p.m. and will take place at Calabasas Lake. Free parking will be available at the Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center, 23400 Park Sorrento in Calabasas. A free Park & Ride shuttle service is also available from the Calabasas Inn at 23500 Park Sorrento beginning at 5:00p.m. Picnics are welcome and light snacks will be available for purchase with cash. We are receiving a number of really favorable calls, comments from the community on how 'beautiful' and impressive the buildings look. The interior feel is very nice on the larger restaurant spaces with high window lines and soaring ceilingareas. Extensive planting has already taken place on the site and most of the parking lot is complete. Some of the buildings are now enclosed with glass and stonework has begun. -

YEAH!!! Finally an Organic market coming to Calabasas. No more trucking down to Woodland Hills or Thousand Oaks. One in our very back yard. How great for our city.
